Details: Donald Straszheim, Vice-Chairman of Roth Capital Partners, LLC in Los Angeles, will be our guest speaker. Mr. Straszheim was formerly the global chief economist for Merrill Lynch and Co., where he was voted to the "Institutional Investor" All-Star Team for 10 consecutive years. He is recognized as one of the country's leading China and emerging markets Asia experts. His topic will be "China, America, and the Realities of Global Competition."

Our guest speaker for the event will be Dan Meader, who serves as a Governor on the CFA Institute's Board of Governors (along with our very own Dr. Vibhakar). Mr. Meader will talk about the evolution of the CFA Society and the CFA program.
